Item Description
Complete Eaton VacClad-W (VCP-W) indoor metal-clad switchgear lineup, manufactured in April 2022. Surplus, never installed or energized. The nine-section lineup has been stored indoors, shrink-wrapped on skids, in Orangeburg. Approximately 6,000 feet of new 35 kV medium-voltage cable is included.

Breakers and protection: Fourteen 270VCP-W40 vacuum circuit breakers are included: one 2,000 A main and thirteen 1,200 A feeders, with 3-cycle operation and 125 VDC motor, close and trip controls. The lineup also has one fully equipped future 1,200 A cell, one Eaton EDR-5000 main relay, thirteen EDR-3000 feeder relays and one PXM3000 power-quality meter.
Instrument transformers and equipment: Two sets of 2000:5 CTs, thirteen sets of 150:5 CTs, two ABB VIZ-12 VTs rated 24960/120 V, and a 15 kVA CPT rated 24940/240-120 V with fuse drawer. Other features include 21 kV arresters, 22 IRISS infrared viewing windows, Electroswitch control switches, MOC/TOC switches, remote-racking receptacles, space heaters and a Kirk key interlock. A seismic certificate is available.
Accessories and documentation included: Breaker test cabinet and test jumper, lifting yoke, lift device, dockable dolly, ramp, levering crank, instruction book and complete Eaton IFC drawing package, including outlines, one-line and three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and bill of materials.
Medium-voltage cable included
Approximately 6.5 reels / 6,000 ft of new LS Cable & System 750 kcmil aluminum cable, rated 35 kV at the 133% insulation level, with EPR insulation, copper-tape shield and PVC jacket. The cable is identified as P/N 1267283 and marked to UL 1072 and ICEA S-93-639. Full original reels contain approximately 932 ft and weigh approximately 3,100 lb each. The cable corresponds to the lineups 750 kcmil main terminations.
This package may suit utility, solar or BESS interconnect, industrial, and data-center service entrance projects. Use on systems below 27 kV, including 24.9 kV, 23 kV, 13.8 kV and 12.47 kV, is subject to engineering review and appropriate VT/CPT ratio changes.
