| Condition | : | Insurance Claim Damaged Damage Indicators & Findings1. Shock/Tilt Indicators All Triggered 2 Tip & Fell (tilt) indicators and 1 shock indicator were affixed to the wooden crate. All 3 indicators were triggered to some degree. The Drop & Tell (shock) indicator activated, meaning the unit sustained more than 10G of force. 2. External Crate Damage One side of the wooden crate was grazed/distorted; the other sides appeared sound. The crate had already been opened prior to the survey (DSV flagged the discrepancy on 21 Apr 2026). 3. Damage to the Unit Itself A portion of the housing/casing was dented inward, on the same side as the crate damage. Scratch marks and minor dents were also noted (see surveyor's photo report). 4. No Internal Inspection Possible The surveyor requested further unpacking to assess the interior condition, but SWTS advised they lacked the expertise or equipment to do so. The unit was crated back up and stored pending next steps. The unit was never tested, Siemens locally reportedly said it cannot be tested at that location. |
