COMPLAINT: Customer brought machine in with rotation issues and stated that the pump stack was leaking between the pumps.

CAUSE: Drained hydraulic tank and inspected suction filers for debris. Tank was full of brass material and suction filers were also full of brass material. This usually indicates a internal failure of the hydraulic pump. This failure also sent contamination through entire hydraulic system resulting in complete system failure.

CORRECTION: Remove and replace all hydraulic components and hoses. Install new hydraulic cooler and clean tank. Install all new filters. Run flush on hydraulic system after component change, R&I all hydraulic filters and refill system with clean OEM oil. Run and test all repairs.
