Overall Assessment:
The APU appears to be in generally good condition with relatively low operating hours; however, prior storage conditions were not optimal and contamination was noted.
Key Findings:
External contamination due to storage (mold deposits, sand in exhaust, water marks in intake plenum)
Light corrosion observed in limited areas
Fuel filter bowl contained particles
Oil noted at surge control/IGVA/fuel cluster drain (possible seal concern)
IGV system operates smoothly
APU rotation smooth
Compressor and turbine sections in generally good visual condition with minor erosion/light corrosion in localized areas

External cleaning recommended (intake plenum, generator area, air turbine starter, eductor, exhaust, turbine area)
Drains to be removed and blown clean
Fuel cluster removal and dual shaft seal replacement recommended
Bench test required to confirm condition and monitor vibration levels
