    Item Description

This 1982 ASI Shipyards 26.44M Trawler Fishing Vessel is no longer needed for the company's operations and is being sold as an asset liquidation for its owner.

    • Make: ASI Shipyards
    • Type: Steel Trawler
    • LOA: 26.44M
    • Year Built: 1982
    • Main Engine Hours: 6,105
    • Auxiliary Engine-1 Hours: 4,106
    • Auxiliary Engine-2 Hours: 10,953
    • Location: Indonesia

The vessel was originally constructed in Western Australia by ASI Shipyards for Saudi Fisheries and deployed in the Persian Gulf. In 2002, the vessel was acquired from Saudi Fisheries and relocated to Indonesia for operations.

Due to a change in Indonesian Fisheries legislation, the associated prawn licenses for joint venture companies were canceled. As a result, this vessel has been tied up in Indonesia since June 2015.

Despite being docked, the vessel has been maintained regularly by a marine engineer, who continued to start and run the machinery to ensure its condition.

The vessel was fully operational prior to license cancellation and remains structurally sound. It features a large fuel capacity, making it a strong candidate for refitting. With a full refit, it would make a valuable addition to any commercial fishing fleet.
