    The consignment consisted of 32 packages containing valves, vehicle maintenance parts (air filters, fuel filters, oil filters), shift flexible shaft assemblies, hardware tool kits (drills, screws, wrenches), air dryer parts, and starter parts for vehicles. The cargo was loaded into 2 x 40 Ft HC and 1 x 20 Ft. SD containers at Shanghai Port, China, under a clean bill of lading.   The containers were transported to customer in Uganda, where they were destuffed, and the empty containers were returned to Mombasa Container Yard, Kenya. During destuffing, the surveyor reported that some packages had sustained varying degrees of mechanical damage.

    A joint survey revealed physical damage to the poles, including bends, scratches, and deformation on the endplates and lower sections. However, a technical assessment would be required to determine whether the damaged parts are repairable.
