| Condition | : | Insurance Claim Damaged During shippingt the vehicle was involved in a traffic accident that resulted in the overturning of both the vehicle and the container. The container held a shipment consisting of 41 pallets. After unloading, the original 41 damaged pallets were removed and replaced, while the cartons were repaired and reinforced to ensure the cargo was stored properly. According to estimates made during the cargo inspection, approximately 40% of the cargo is damaged. The damage includes spools with deformations of varying degrees at the ends of their cores (cardboard spools). The cartons were arranged on 41 pallets, with each carton containing 12 spools distributed across two levels, with 6 units per level. Each level was separated by a cardboard sheet, and the coils were placed with their cores in a vertical position. A sampling of the cargo was conducted, randomly selecting 15 cartons for opening and inspection of their contents, totaling 180 spools. Please check the photos for a better understanding. |
