This McDonnell Douglas MD-83 Aircraft was involved in an insurance claim and is being sold by the insurance company to recover funds from loss.
The aircraft in its entirety, including the avionic components, engines and APU, are offered for sale on an “as is where is” basis with all faults known and unknown. The aircraft components are considered to be non-airworthy and not fit for flight, unless repaired or restored to a standard acceptable and certified under the appropriate airworthiness regulation, according to the aircraft’s state of registry, location or intended location.
