    Seller Description

This 2011 Jingjin Coal Press is being sold to recover funds for the insurance company.

Condition: According to the adjuster the unit slid off the back of the trailer in July. It is not repairable per manufacturer rep. recommendation. The press has 2 horizontal metal beams that acts as the frame of the press. The slurry is pumped under pressure from the end of the press, into a series of plates (80) that slid along the horizontal beam. Each of these plates are concave on both sides and have a fitted filter over the entire plate. On the other end of the horizontal press are the hydraulic cylinders. These cylinders apply horizontal pressure on the plates and create a seal between the plates. Pressure from the slurry pumps assisted with compressed air, forces the water to separate from the solids in the slurry that is trapped in the concave void of the plates. The expelled water is recovered in catch troughs that run the length of the press, under the horizontal beams. The solids are captured in the filters (bags) and recycled. There is supporting equipment attached to the press that moved the plates, cycle the components and monitor the machine. As witnessed in the attached photos, the visible damage to the press is damage to one horizontals beam, the water recovery troughs, the rabbit system that moves the plates, the festoon systems that controls the electrical cables, the support legs on the pump end and some of the 80 plates that was thrown from the press at the time of the accident. There are large weldments that support the hydraulic cylinders, the horizontal beams and the pumps and associated piping. These end weldments connect to and support the horizontal beams and may have been damaged in the accident with cracks that are not visible to the naked eye.
