      This is considered scrap carbon steel materials. The buyer will be responsible for freight and logistics to final destination. Buyer must adhere to all HSE requirements of yard before removing scrap material. Any refunds or additional payments will be adjusted based on certified scale tickets. This is being sold as is, where is.

      1. Demolition materials will be loaded onto the provided equipment as it is removed from the existing structure. The vendor is responsible for the supply of all transporting equipment (namely trucks, trailers, bin truck and bins). All equipment must pass the Atlantic site inspection requirements as outlines in the attached. 
      2. Vendor is fully responsible for strapping and safe removal from site.
      3. Atlantic will dictate the sequence of loading, but will be done in consultation with the vendor
      4. Vendor is required to provide one inducted supervisor at our site on a daily basis.
      5. All manpower and equipment must be at our south gate for 7:30 am daily. Standard working days and times (Monday to Friday - 7:30 am to 5:30 pm)
      6. Any charges incurred due to the inability of the vendor to meet the daily equipment requirement will be bourne by the vendor
      7. All activity must adhere to the site safety and vehicle driving safety standards
      8. A risk assessment is compulsory before commencement of the job and includes a walkdown of the area
      9. Vendor will be responsible for housekeeping activities on a daily basis
      10. All badges are to be returned upon completion of the job
      11. Vendor to provide all dunnage and pallets required for safe handling techniques.
      12. Atlantic will provide a task lead and a safety officer who will manage the activity set
      13. At the end of the job, all weights removed from the facility will be totaled and invoiced based on the agreed fixed price per ton.



      Induction ( Required to work on Atlantic job site )
      Induction is conducted at Atlantic site ( Clifton Hill, Point Fortin ) From 8 am to 9 am or 10 am to 11 am Monday to Thursday and alternate Fridays

      Drivers permit and national ID

      Vehicle Inspection

      All vehicles working on site must pass Atlantic's Vehicle Inspection. Please see attached Check List.

      This lot of Warehouse Carbon Steel Scrap is the result of 2 warehouses that are being demolished to clear space.  Scrap metal includes sheet metal, supporting beams and wire caging.

       

      Seller Terms

      • Salvex and the seller have the right to reject any and all offers.
      • This product is sold AS IS, WHERE IS.
      • Buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties, loading and freight charges.
      • Seller does not offer any warranties or manufacturer warranties.
      • Upon receipt of cleared funds, Seller will provide the Buyer a Release Order for item pick up. Title transfers from Seller to Buyer upon issuance of the Release Order.
      • It is Buyer's responsibility to verify quantities and condition at the time of pick up. Once the product has been removed from Seller's location, there will be no adjustments based on quantity or condition.
