This 1978 Hopper 350 Rig is being sold to recover funds for the insurance company. According to the adjuster the incident background is that the mast suddenly dropped about 4-5 feet when rigging down (from an angle of 45 degrees to an angle of 30 degrees). As a result, several cracks, primarily in the carrier frame developed. Eventually, the mast was completely lowered without sustaining any visible physical damage.
