    Quantity:273228 Pounds
    Condition:
The offered load of Cocoa Beans was exposed to condensation. Some product has been reconditioned. However, some product is moldy and there are some sweeps. There was condensation on the steel bulkheads inside the cargo holds. Moisture stained one side or one end of each bag that was in direct contact with the bulkheads. In the warehouse, the stained bags were sorted/ segregated from the clean bags and full pallet loads of clean bags were returned to stock. The stained bags were then “reconditioned” by cutting them open and raking the moldy beans off to one side and the “good” beans off to the other side. The “good” beans were also polished somewhat by a conveyor belt on their way to be placed in super sacks. In the end, the “good” beans still did not meet customer’s quality control standards and were rejected. Please see lab test reports enclosed. There is no lab report for the sweeps. Sweeps are just what was recovered from the bottom of the hold after the bagged cargo was discharged. Sweeps were not reconditioned in any way. Please note loading costs are as follows: Handling out: $35.00 per super sack (pallets not included) - Monthly rent: $7.50 per metric ton per month (billed at the beginning of each month). Please see breakdown enclosed and submit your bid accordingly.
