Owners are inviting offers for their exceptionally well kept:
DP2/4PM MV Sentinel - ex Scottish fisheries research vessel
MV SCOTIA. (see below)
The vessel is presently working on a short job in the Southern Adriatic and will be next available
for inspection at the end of this month/Beg March in the port of
Crotone, S. Italy by appointment through our offices.
To be noted that since her refit in 2009
(new Kongsberg DP2 -latest version-, brand new accommodation throughout & brand new Wartsila main engines)
class society RINA have granted the vessel a "conventional age reduction" of 23 years, that is to say from 1971 to 1993.
The installation of the 2 new Wartsila engines (built in 2007) gives the vessel a daily fuel consumption of around 4 tons only and furthermore they are green environmental certificated (tier I).
Also to be noted is that the vessel has a permanent 4 point mooring system and a 40 ton A-frame (presently ashore) purpose built for the MV Sentinel that can be included in the sale.
Owners would much prefer a sale (and are very KEEN as sellers) but serious charter proposals WW will be seriously looked at too.
We can guide any serious and named party on Owner's price ideas.

- Salvex and the seller have the right to reject any and all offers.
- This product is sold AS IS, WHERE IS.
- Buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties, loading and freight charges.
- Seller does not offer any warranties or manufacturer warranties.
- Upon receipt of cleared funds, Seller will provide the Buyer a Release Order for item pick up. Title transfers from Seller to Buyer upon issuance of the Release Order.
- It is Buyer's responsibility to verify quantities and condition at the time of pick up. Once the product has been removed from Seller's location, there will be no adjustments based on quantity or condition.
