    Item Description

This artwork fell off the wall during Hurricane Ike. It is being sold to recover funds for the insurance company.

  • Length: 29" long
  • Qty: 1 Mask

This is superb, rare Koposki mask. Depicting a curious zoomorphic combination of a monkey and a hornbill (symbol of fertility). The rounded forehead is decorated in alternating triangular pattern carved in relief a deeply hooded facial plane, triangular eyes, along arrow shaped nose, high arched jaw bones, and a very long, straight articulated bill with a medial ridge. Both bills are lined with white painted teeth. The wholes is evenly covered in a blistered patina. The mask is an excellent piece of craftsmanship.

This Persian Rug was damaged by water from Hurricane Ike. The rug is being sold to recover funds for the insurance company.
