    The reefer was not running when it arrived at the warehouse. Upon inspection, the reefer unit turned on by itself. Re-inspection of the reefer unit found it set at -18 degrees C. The temperature was found to be at -4.8 degrees C with the rear doors open. Inspectors were uncertain if the reefer unit was in a defrost mode or there was a malfunction.

    Random cartons were selected from each pallet load from the top and middle of the loads. Inspection of plastic bags of cooked shrimp showed little to generally no ice crystals within the bags, with the shrimp clumped and frozen together from possible defrosting and refreezing. However, shrimp was easily broken apart when squeezed with finger tips. No visible freezer dmage such as discoloring and/or freezer burn was noted to the shrimp.

    • Upon receipt of cleared funds, Seller will provide the Buyer a Release Order for item pick up. Title transfers from Seller to Buyer upon issuance of the Release Order.
    • It is Buyer's responsibility to verify quantities and condition at the time of pick up. Once the product has been removed from Seller's location, there will be no adjustments based on quantity or condition.
