| Condition | : | According to the seller, the compactor was struck on an overpass in October of 2006 and flipped over on impact. In order for the compactor to be removed from the accident site, the operator's cab of the compactor had to be cut off. The compactor is dirty, rusty and worn from use in landfills and had multiple scrapes gouges and scratches. The cab had been cut away and was loose on the ground at inspection. The railing and cab supports were bent over. The compactor is mechanically still operational but the hydraulics had been damaged in the accident. A review of the equipment by a sheepsfoot or heavy equipment specialist could determine the market value of the compactor and if it would be economically repairable. |
