  • The original shipment containing 2,450 cartons of pork hearts was transloaded into another refrigerated container shortly after the incident.
  • All of the heavily crushed cartons containing exposed pork hearts have been separated and are not included in this solicitation.
  • the end panels of some of the 2,045 cartons in this offer are torn, cartons are partially crushed, some are dirty and some have foot prints on them from workers walking on the cartons as a result of the number of times these cartons were handled.
  • This product was originally packed fresh prior to being quick frozen at the original processing facility and no evidence of new re-frozen blood was found on the bottom of the plastic product bags at the time of inspection. Some blood stains were noted on the exterior of some cartons and in the bottoms of other cartons which in the opinion of the inspectors occurred during the original processing operations.

    ***The cargo was transferred into a cold storage facility where good product was separated from cartons which were heavily damaged and/or the product was out of their cartons and were exposed.

    • Salvex and the seller have the right to reject any and all offers.
    • This product is sold AS IS, WHERE IS.
    • Buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties, loading and freight charges.
    • Seller does not offer any warranties or manufacturer warranties.
    • Upon receipt of cleared funds, Seller will provide the Buyer a Release Order for item pick up. Title transfers from Seller to Buyer upon issuance of the Release Order.
    • It is Buyer's responsibility to verify quantities and condition at the time of pick up. Once the product has been removed from Seller's location, there will be no adjustments based on quantity or condition.
