    Reasons for rejection include dirt residue present on some of the bags as well as new allegations that some product is caked or clumped within the bags. As indicated, the manufacturer and the warehouseman have not handled this cargo since the delivery. As some of the bags are in an upside down position, the manufacturer is objecting indicating they feel the bags were subject to extra handling during the recovery and transload operations at the accident site. Although there is nothing to suggest that dirt and other foreign matter might have entered the sealed bags, the manufacturer is indicating they and their customers will not open these bags to attempt to transfer the product to new bags or clean production equipment.
