    The engine is bad shape and could be considered scrap, or considered for refurbishment. There are three extra SLR bearing tracking wheels included in the sale. There are two additional flat bed rail cars included in this sale. The EMD along with pre-starter engine and compressor are still intact and could be overhauled to run again.

    Item Description

    UP locomotive NW 2 EMD SLR bearing switch engine. This engine is on a spur that no longer has rail access. The engine 1970 version and was used to switch within a large manufacturing facility that has shut down the process in adjacent buildings. This makes the switch engine obsolete.

    • Salvex and the seller have the right to reject any and all offers.
    • This product is sold AS IS, WHERE IS.
    • Buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties, loading and freight charges.
    • Seller does not offer any warranties or manufacturer warranties.
    • Upon receipt of cleared funds, Seller will provide the Buyer a Release Order for item pick up. Title transfers from Seller to Buyer upon issuance of the Release Order.
    • It is Buyer's responsibility to verify quantities and condition at the time of pick up. Once the product has been removed from Seller's location, there will be no adjustments based on quantity or condition.
