      The bags did show some moisture contamination and some mold was present. The boxes of Star Anise also had some moisture contamination but there was no mold visible.

      Item Description

      The due date for this auction is now October 31, 2005 - 3:00 PM CST (4:00 PM EST).

      This auction is for abandoned cargo. Cargo is spices and must be sold in an asset recovery sale.

    6. The majority of the 40' container has approx. 700 large cases (approx 21" x 19" x 18") of Star Anise - approx 20 pounds per box.
    7. There are also approx 200 bags of spice - we were told the contents were also Star Anise but it appeared to be licorice.
    8. The bag size is approx 11" x 11" x 24".

      9. Seller Terms

      • Salvex and the seller have the right to reject any and all offers.
      • This product is sold AS IS, WHERE IS.
      • Buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties, loading and freight charges.
      • Seller does not offer any warranties or manufacturer warranties.
      • Upon receipt of cleared funds, Seller will provide the Buyer a Release Order for item pick up. Title transfers from Seller to Buyer upon issuance of the Release Order.
      • It is Buyer's responsibility to verify quantities and condition at the time of pick up. Once the product has been removed from Seller's location, there will be no adjustments based on quantity or condition.
