    Seller Description

    General:

The WG30 is a general purpose aircraft on Single Main rotor and Tail Rotor torque compensator. It is powered by two Rolls Royce Gem engines. The cockpit can accommodate two crew members, although it has a single pilot capacity. The cabin has two wide opening doors and can accommodate equipment, freight or passengers.

If a buyer want to buy just one with parts ie extra engine, transmission etc. the price would be $16,000,000. If a buyer would like to buy 2 helicopters that would sell for $26,000,000. The seller would prefer to sell a minimum of two which is why the price has been set like it is. There is a further break down regarding pricing below.

Flight controls in the cockpit comprises a cyclic pitch column which produces a corresponding movement in flight, a collective stick to control the aircraft’s ascent and descent and conventional ruddy pedals for directional control. Control runs are transmitted primarily via rods and levers. Cyclic and collective control is obtained via three tandem jacks, one for each control axis. Two independent hydraulic systems provide the power for these three jacks, each system supplying one half of each of the three tandem jacks. In the yaw axis, the hydraulic power is not duplicated and derives its power from one of the two systems.

Engines are of the free power turbine type mounted side by side on a raft which also carries the main transmission and is fitted above the main cabin, on clastromeric mounting blocks. Each engine has its own completely self-contained oil system and independent fuel control system. Each engine is coupled to the main rotor gear by a drive shaft and Thomas couplings. Provision is made for electrically de-icing the engine intake.

Engine oil system is identical for both engines. Oil is drawn from the engine-mounted oil tank by a pump via cooler to a pressure filter. The filtered oil is then fed via a distribution block, to lubricate the bearings and gears within the engine. The oil is returned to the tank by three scavenge pumps.
