Item Description
This lot of Stabol I Powder is being sold by the Owners as a leftover from the project that was canceled.
- Product: Stabol I Powder active anti hydrolysis agent for polyester polymers (PET, PBT, TPE)
- Quantity: 140 kg net total in 50 kg net for each box (2 full drums and one open drum)
- Marking: CAS 2162-74-5
- Packaging: Cardboard box with 2 PE-inliner
- Expiry: Valid till July 2023.
- Description: Stabaxol® I is an active anti hydrolysis agent with distinctly reduced content of volatile components for polyester polymers (PET, PBT, TPE), polyamide, thermoplastic polyesterpolyurethanes (TPU), and millable urethane rubber. Stabaxol® I Powder is very suitable for the production of monofilaments.
- Chemical Composition: Monomeric carbodiimide
- Appearance: White to slightly yellowish powder, tends to form lumps
- Application: Stabaxol® I Powder is normally dissolved in the polyester polyol; alternatively, it may be added to the pre-polymer (only with terminal OH groups). An addition of 2.5 parts by weight Stabaxol® I Powder to 100 parts by weight polyester polyol will increase the resistance to hydrolysis approximately fourfold. As Stabaxol® I Powder tends to bloom in certain goods, the addition should not exceed 2 parts by weight (on 100 parts polyester polyol).
