Extent of Damage: The cargo vessel suffered a fire to its upper structure.

Important note:  Due to a ban on the export of scrap metal passed by the Government of Guyana, the vessel would not be able to be cut in Guyana and carried away. A solution would be to tow it to neighbouring Suriname and have it cut there and then senrt onwards.
